Camino Artes Guitar Workshop
As of 2025, I'm incredibly honoured and thrilled to be appointed as resident faculty at the Camino Artes Guitar Workshop, a transformative six-day intensive program held annually in the historic town of Carrión de los Condes in northern Spain. This workshop represents everything I believe in as a musician and educator: deep musical immersion, cultural enrichment, and the power of community learning.
About the Workshop
The Camino Artes Guitar Workshop brings together guitarists from around the world for an intensive week of masterclasses, lectures, and daily performance opportunities. Under the direction of renowned guitarist René Izquierdo, the workshop offers a unique blend of high-level instruction and cultural immersion in one of Spain's most historically significant regions.
International Faculty
Working alongside director René Izquierdo, luthier Federico Sheppard, Elina Chekan, Ignacio Barcia, and distinguished guest faculty from around the world, it is an honour and privilege to be part of a team committed to providing personalized attention and diverse perspectives on the classical guitar.

Historic Performance Venues
One of the most remarkable aspects of this workshop is the opportunity to perform every evening in Romanesque churches dating back to the 11th and 12th centuries. These sacred spaces offer stunning acoustics and an atmosphere unlike any concert hall. You'll perform for new audiences every night, consisting of pilgrims from around the world who are walking the Camino de Santiago. It is an incredibly fulfilling and meaningful experience to be part of everyone's unique story on their journey along the Camino, making it all the more special.
